For sale: One Thin Weasel D, in case. I believe this is cocobola wood, but I don’t remember for sure. It’s the whistle that Tephilia had for sale a while back, and that I bought. It’s been well cared for, and well-loved. I’ve even oiled the CASE it came in, on a weekly basis.

I have no complaints about this whistle. Unfortunately, I’ve been out of work for a while now, and it may be a while before Houston bounces back from the Enron thing. Thus, I need to start bringing in some supplemental dollars any way that I can.
I have the original care sheet (though now folded, with a bit of flute oil on it), and will also include the $0.85 roll of teflon tape I bought to tighten up the tuning slide to my liking.
The whistle would go for $290.00 new from Glenn, and I’m asking for $275.00. This covers USPS Priority Mail in the US, but does not cover insurance (which I personally recommend on anything being mailed)…add $4.00 if you want it covered by insurance.

This is a very sweet whistle, I had the opportunity to play it a couple of times and heard Greg play it in a dozen sessions. Its clear on pitch tone carries and cuts into a session better than any thing I’ve heard. Having failed to procure it through extortion, I tried to “borrow” this whistle a couple of times from Greg during my visit. He caught me and I had to return it. ( He did offer to sell it to me, but I didn’t have the $1000 asking price and he wouldn’t budge. This is a well loved whistle.

All joking aside, the price I quoted Lee, when I wasn’t out of work, was $500 It’s definitely had a lot of love put into it.
The whistle is currently off the market, and I hope it’s new owner enjoys it as much as I have.

Tyghress, I think it is time you come out of the denial stage.
Just stand up, and say to the group: “Hello, i am Tyghress, and I have WhoA”
You can do it - it’ll make you feel better (and the Thin Weasel will too, congrats!)
Me? WhOA? um. . .nah! I just want to compare wooden to brass. I’m not addicted. And quite frankly, that low D under my pillow is actually there for back support!
Really, it will all become easier if you go past the denial stage. Think of all the time you can spend browsing for new whistles that otherwise would spend thinking of excuses to cover up your WhoA.
