I just got my new whistles – I just got my Alba Q1 and Low D dropped off at work (they were delivered to my mum’s place).

The Q1 is wonderful to play – a nice, quiet but full sound. My wife is going to appreciate that certainly. It certainly makes a nice change from my trusty Faedog.

The Low D is impressive and intimidating – I’ve never picked up a Low D before, so I’m going to have to adjust to it for a while before I can really play it. But the sounds I have made with it are amazing.

These are wonderful whistles.

i can understand him watching me breathing while i’m playing him, but having him watch over every breath i take is a bit much, don’t you think? :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
