At Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music, after the children’s division came the adults’

  1. Katie Bern & Matt Danaher
  2. The Hatfield Sisters
  3. Jordan Wankoff & Michelle Steinman
  4. Maggie Danaher & Monica Severance

Of special interest to the ITM folks here; Katie and Matt were a fiddle and guitar duet.
The Hatfield Sisters were both fiddle accompanied by a guitarist.
Maggie and Monica were a fiddle and concertina duet.

Yeah, Ireland was well represented last night.
But hey, it was Chicago.

I see the Hatfield sisters have a myspace.

Jordan is pretty dang good on the fiddle.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone making fun of his last name in this town.

Jordan is usually found playing in a local band called WABOLABR
