I remember her first TV message! It was a big deal then, also saw her coronation 24 hours after it happen on television. The CBC scooped everyone by developing the film of the coronation on the flight across the Atlantic and broadcasting it as soon as it arrived.
Grand lady, but alas my opinion is that she is the last monarch of Canada.
