T'heck with that rodent!

Punxsutawney Phill says six more weeks of winter, but I’ve a beter source - one that never lies.

For the last week, the sky has been full of migrating geese. Spring is never far behind.

Now, the purpose of this thread. I want a tune to play to welcome the big birds back and wish them godspeed. Trouble is, to the Irish, Wild Geese" has its own, non-avian meaning. Anyone got any other ideas?

T’heck with that rodent!

Whew!

You scared me.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Gee, that’s what I thought, too, Jerry.

I figured out where the mouse on my tweaked Generation went. It transported itself from the sticker ont the whistle into my cupboards. I had to go buy traps today! If I catch it, can you glue it back on for me?

 Jennie

Hmmm… “Geese in the Bog”? “Gander at the Pratie Hole”?

Me too!!! :astonished:

I had to dig in the garbage for some comfort food for my possum… poor dear…

Ummm, Annie?

A possum isn’t a rodent…

“Geese In The Bog” is exactly what I need. Thanks, Jen.

Hey.. once they start on the rodents around here, they don’t know the meaning of the word ‘marsupial’… it’s guilt by association, ya know… They even shoot ruminants out here in the boonies!

Punxatawney Phil is just not right. I have seen the geese heading north and also a flock of robins in my yard. Is there a tune for robins?

Ron

I keep reading this thread as ‘theck’ and wondering what it means.

Well, “Bill”… perhaps if you held your head still for a moment…

'S a contraction. Theck = T’heck = To heck
