Recently I purchased 12, yes one of each type, Generation whistles from Thom’s online store. They arrived on time and well wrapped and are sold at a very reasonable price.
Well I tried them all for about 15 minutes or more each and most were good players (you know what I mean) except for 2; the nickle C’s head has an issue and the brass GenD has a dent. This was hidden by the sticker; I know Thom would not send out a dented whistle on purpose!!
Now to the happy ending… I wrote him about these 2 and he said to send them on back for a replacement. Now thats what I call prompt and friendly customer service. They are good people to deal with.

BTW my wife really hates the high G and high F whistles
Generation whistles come in boxes of ten. They’re packed in the box in two rows of five, with the whistleheads and tubes alternating. Often, there’s a dent on the tube of a Generation whistle, from the ridge on the mouthpiece of the whistle that was packed adjacent to it. If the dent isn’t too severe, it might be considered a character feature, like faded jeans or the patina on a well played brass whistle.
