Kevin,

It’s great to hear that you’re doing a US tour…but you missed a whole coast. :poke:

Love to see you out here in the wild and wooly west, where men are men and the women mostly eat tofu.

JD

How about Halifax someday too? We could fill a church for ya… or better yet a pub

You’d have the hassle of crossing the border, but Maritime hospitality is legendary

I would second the request to visit Nova Scotia, but recommend you bypass Halifax…a pleasant enough town if you like things on the quiet side (trying hard not to say ‘dull’ here…) and head straight to Cape Breton, musical heart of Atlantic Canada, and party central. Although you are teetotallers, and we don’t have much experience of that. You’d still be welcome.

Yeah, seriously. The US doesn’t end at the Atlantic high tide line.
Best of luck with the tour.

Kev,
Was at your gig in Basingstoke last night, fantastc !
I must get one of those vacuum cleaners, they look easy to play !

Also were you playing an aluminium Burke ?

I know, I know disgraceful really bypassing the West Coast and Canada but trust me we will be back !! The dates I posted are just an introductory run of dates to prep us for the imminent Teetotallers CD which will be recorded after the tour.
I know we’re playing at a festival in Vancouver in July also (name of which escapes me) so hang on in there please !!

@ Clive, glad you like ‘D’ set of Dyson pipes  !! Thought they sounded really good last night in Basingstoke, You’d clean up if you got a set of those I’d say.

Your spot on with the Burke aluminium ‘D’ too so well spotted.

Delighted to hear that you liked the gig.

Jeepers, you guys have Celtic Colours for ten days every year and those musicians aren’t even supposed to perform in Halifax… give us a chance too, will ya? Maybe Kev & Co. could do both-- they’re doing 2 shows in Connecticut (one in my home town), which my whole family cleared out of as soon as we could. :boggle:

Can’t wait for the Asheville night. Nor can I wait for Swannanoa again.

I’m just a newbie… so what do I know?.. I saw your Teetotallers show last night, 6/2, in Stratford (for all you passerthruers) and the music is a smashing success!!! Especially with the fist-ful-of-whistles you played!!! My foot is still tapping and my ears are re-playing tunes. But, that’s not why I write…

The music was splendid and I paid in advance for the music, however, there should’ve been an additional amount charged for the “comedy central” ! Between the music and the comedy the entire evening was filled with absolute pleasantries. TWO shows in one. I owe you the additional amount for the comedy (maybe next tour).

If you haven’t seen the show… there’s still time… or go again!

And Teetotallers, just know that if I had the connections with NJTrnpk Authority, I’d take care of that little EZPass situation for ya… Kevin, Martin, and John, thanks all!
