The state of U.S. education in two words.

Oh, I see.

I thought he was thinking of me.

Now, I’m confused again. Here is where context is important. I have heard that you can herd sheep, but don’t you herd them into a flock rather than into a herd. So isn’t the photo more rightly representing a flock of sheep?

Ack! Yes, yes, yes…

I googled herd,
found a picture of a flock of sheep,
saw the word herd and the picture of the flock,
thought of Lambchop,
and posted same…

Did I have and extra yes at the top?

ya know, fer a no word reply this is gettin’ entirely out of hand. :astonished:

Sigh. One does not herd sheep into a flock. It is unnecessary, as we are companionable creatures who enjoy a good flock.

sheep enjoy a good flock, eh?

Yes, of course. As I said, we are companionable creatures. We delight in flocking.

…as do goats!

Ah, yes! You have some of the wee darlings!

Goats are adorable! And such nice milk! Yummm!

“I will NOT make any North Carolina jokes… I will NOT make any North Carolina jokes… I will NOT make any North Carolina jokes…” :astonished:

I think it would be ok . . . neither of us are from North Carolina . . .

Yep! They do tend to stay close to each other…

Got any photos of the little darlings?

Somewhere in the archives…

Someday.
