Just wanted to drop a note to Mack Hoover and all:
Around a month or so ago I bought a whistle from Mack, one of his new-design whitecaps, on a tube he made.
I have really fallen in love with this whistle. Everytime I play it I am surprised again.
It’s got good resisitance and you can really punch the notes on this one, yet the whistle retains that sweet, clear upper octave of his previous work. Tuning is right on and this whistle has the C-natural thumb hole, which is really cool and not hard at all to get used to.
A really lovely whistle! Mack, you do good work.
