The Pipers' Tent

If you are anywhere near the continental center of North America this weekend you should stop by the Pipers and Seisiún Tent at the Minnesota Irish Fair (http://www.irishfair.com). Starting today!).

Members of the Great Northern (pause)
Irish Pipers’ Club (http://www.gnipc.org) will be holding court at the tent, where we will be welcoming guest artists Pat Cannady (pipes) and Karen Cook Cannady (fiddle).

Yours,
Tommykleen

Karen and I wish to express heartfelt thanks to TommyKleen for the terrific hospitality, Nanohedron for his lovely cittern playing, our fantastic dancers (Ms. Meehan especially with her sean nos interpretations of our tunes - it’s always a pleasure to play for sean nos dancing!), misterpatrick, Pat McC, Virginia and Terry Keegan, and Minnesota Irish Fair for all of the hospitality and good times. The weather was a challenge at times but you all made it a wonderful experience. Big big thanks to the Merlin’s Rest crew for the fantastic time at Friday night’s whisky tasting. We are now avid fans of Bendronach, Deanston, Strathisla, and Glentauchers. Thanks to Bill Watkins for the book, we look forward to reading it.

Special thanks to Donald E Baltus and Baglady for the stories, songs, tunes, and homemade cider! Good stuff! :boggle:
