I couldn’t imagine brushing it out!!! Mine’s hard enough, but to have 15 feet of hair…that’s just amazing. She really should take stock out in a shampoo company. She’d make a fortune

but she actually did take away quite a bit, see, she put this gel stuff in my hair and made them stand up. that’s why.
My wife had hair almost that long for a while. It was a real hassle. Sometimes she’d sit on it, and then she couldn’t get out of her chair, so I’d have to lift her out of it. It got caught in the car door more than once. Fortunately, that only happened when she was in the car, so I never drove away with her trailing along after.
Once we were on a subway in the Tokyo area. The car was very crowded, and she was standing at the end with the kids. I was just on the other side of the door. We stopped at a major station, just before the one we were going to, and people just flooded out. I heard her screaming and looked over and saw that her hair was caught between some people who were not getting off, while her body was being pushed toward the door by some others.
People were also moving around me, like floodwaters around a telephone pole. I grabbed hold of the vertical chrome bars next to the door with both hands, blocking the exit of the people behind me, and put my back into the crowd. I held that position until she was able to free herself. Then I let go and stepped to one side. The people behind me were totally stunned. They just stood there gaping for a couple of seconds before they realized that they’d better go ahead and detrain.
It was very funny. I’m sure no one had ever done anything like that before. Crowds in those situations push very hard–I’ve been picked up and carried into a train car by a bunch of schoolgirls–but it’s a cumulative thing. No single individual is really pushing. As a result, it’s possible to stop them with a little directed effort.
I think it wasn’t long after that that she finally cut her hair back to just above her waist.
My hair does that all the time (get caught in the car door). It hurts. 
Wow…the length of these women’s hair amazes me! Mine was down to the base of my shoulder blades, but I chopped it off to jaw-length a few months ago because I was tired of dealing with it. My hair grows like kudzu though, so it’s already almost back down to my shoulders… I’ve been trying to decide whether I should get it cut or grow it out again.
After hearing the personal stories from some of you, maybe I’ll get a pixie cut!! 
My hair is down to my butt, but this is the longest it’s ever been. I haven’t had it any shorter than pony tail length since I was about 14 (I’m 20 now).
I don’t know how I’d live with short hair. I feel like Samson.
