I have been lucky enough to have been given one of these. I was impressed. Very elegant looking whistle and very light to hold. I found it needed to be warmed up first as the aluminium part was cold. The tone was nice and rich and my whistle achieved the high notes very easily and cleanly when warm. However, I had to experiment with different ways of getting C natural and eventually ended up coming back to the method of half holing the B hole. It went well with my daughters piccolo and is an easy whistle to pop into your sock, as my friend George does, or into a handbag. I’d say it was worth the cost and it’s certainly different looking.
