The Foxhunt -- sheet music?

Hello all –

I’ve been looking for sheet music for “The Foxhunt” as played by the Chieftains and first appearing on their second album. I’ve tried TuneFinder with no luck. Does any one have any other suggestions?

A version of the Foxhunt is in O"Neill’s Music of Ireland. Seamus Ennis’ version is is Ceol an Phiobaire.

The Chieftains fiddled a bit with the piece so they do something different if I remember well.

Peter, is Ceol an Phiobaire still available? Who are the authors/editors? I am not having any success locating this.

It may be out of print, the ycommisioned part two five years ago :roll:. Terry Moylan edited it, NPU published.

All tunes in it were taken from An Piobaire so you may be able to trace them in the old issues on the NPU website.
