The Cycle of Tunes

They say that time will heal all wounds.
I don’t know if that’s true.
But life is like some flowing tunes
That will not end with you.

The tunes, they cycle round and round,
No new thing’s neath the sun.
The waters from the spring flow down
And to the ocean run.

The vapor rises from the sea
And cometh back as rain,
To turn the tiny seed to tree,
To shade the open plain.

When loved ones pass I question why,
And that is well and good,
For they too questioned in their time
And seldom understood.
