The Cillian O'Briain can be heard!

Just received a Cillian O’Briain Low F today. I must say that the aluminum is very light compared to my Chieftains. The sound is pure with medium back pressure.

The remarkable thing is that tonight I went out by my pond, had a seat and played several slow airs on this tune. Laster tonight i received a phone call from to neighbors letting me know that the tunes sounded great. What is so remarkable about this you ask…these neighbors live almost 4 block from me. So either the air was thick and carrying the tunes their direction or the whistle is louder than what it seems.

Either way…its remarkable to me that the sound of the tunes was heard from that distance.

If anyone’s interested, I have an O’Briain low F that I’d sell for $100.

That’s a great deal on an O Briain, Blackhawk! His whistles are really something, very responsive and a lovely tone. They are one of my favorites. They must be, because I just traded a real good and well respected Low D to get my O Briain Low Eb back!

And, Keith, I wish I had a pond to go play mine by! Maybe I’ll just have to go borrow one! Yeah, that’s the ticket!

I like Low Fs.
