Opened up a box with a Doug Tipple Low D flute on Christmas. My first ever flute. I really like it, but I am not certain it likes me, yet. Comparing the flute to my whistles, my boys leave the house quicker when I makes sound on the whistle than they do when I play my whistles. So, there is nothing better than to learn a new instrument while watching my trains circle the tree, especially when the critics disappear!
