Teun Ramaekers' whistle

Howdy folks! I have doubts that anyone would know, but I’m asking anyways…

Anyone have any idea what the brand of whistle is that Teun Ramaekers of the Johann Strauss Orchestra plays? Can’t find a picture online, but on programs I watch, it looks like it may be a Generation Folk Whistle. Any thoughts???

Yes, I’ve been wondering about that too. It looks like a Generation.

But it really sounds good! We could just try and ask him on the website..(after they have returned from their holidays )

Here’s a picture BTW:

That’s a generation

Yes it is.

Yes it is.

He uses different whistles, the one he uses during concerts has a green plastic fipple.
So I think that wouldn’t be a Generation, since Generation only comes with blue or red fipples? I have no picture of that one.

Well, that is a Generation…but that’s not the one I’ve seen him play during performances. This may be a rehearsal…

…and Butterfly…the Generation Folk Whistles do have green fipples. That’s why I thought that may have been the one.

Yes, you’re right, that looks likes the one.

What kind of whistle have you seen him play? I mean, what did it look like?

I’ve found a picture taken on a performance at which he also plays the blue fippled Generation, but he probably has more whistles.
The 29th of August the orchestra returnes from their holidays and I will try and send Teun a mail about this.
Will let you know of any answer.
