Hi,

I’m posting this for a friend of mine in the UK, who has no access to the internet at the time being. I haven’t seen or played the instrument myself.

On offer is a Terry McGee Piccolo in D made of Purple Gidgii wood with sterling silver ferrules and slide in handmade wooden case.

Owner would like to swap it for a fine handmade whistle in D.

Potentially silly question: how would I call that # from the US? I’ve never had the opportunity to make a transatlantic call!

Americans take note - the “ringing” sound on UK phone lines is very similar to the “busy” tone on American lines. If you think it’s sounding like a busy signal, keep on the line a bit to be sure. If no one has picked up then it’s not charging you anything.

I don’t know what the “busy (aka engaged)” sound is here, I don’t make many calls to busy people!

as I have received several PMs with offers now (yes, I’ll pass the on next time I call Simon), I’d like to remind you, that I’m just the bloke who’s posted it, I’m not the seller, nor is he living next door to me or so. (Ok, England is just around the corner to Germany … :smiley: )
