Terry McGee contact?

Hi, all:

Has anyone had recent contact with Mr. McGee? Last Monday (9/8) I sent him an email enquiry about his Pratten flute design package, but haven’t yet received a reply.

When I’ve emailed him in the past he’s replied quickly; hope he’s just vacationing or otherwise O.K.!

(Isn’t Internet-era communications weird? Had I written him a physical letter I wouldn’t expect a reply any time this month. )

Thanks,
Mick

Eeek, call off the dogs, I’ve been found!

Sorry about that Mick, a lot going on around here, including my email software deciding rather irrationally to become terminally allergic to my new computer. So the double joy of moving all my files to the new machine, and then having to move them on to new software. And then learn to drive it.

I did take some comfort from a leader in the Guardian newspaper: “David Cameron can’t help the No campaign – he’s less popular in Scotland than Windows 8”.

And “vacationing”, no. Australians might “holiday”, but never “vacation”. And I never “holiday” - I just visit flute collections!

(Interesting how they are both nouns that converted to verbs. I’m reminded of the saying: “Dust is a noun in this household, not a verb.”)

We did get to the Turning Wave Festival in Yass last weekend - Ballyhooley had three concert spots and a session to run. Bit of an adventure after not going to festivals for about 10 years or so (having kids will do that). Good to be back in the saddle.

I’ll get back to you and others over the next few days!

Terry

Very glad to hear you’re well and accounted for, Terry – the dogs are back on leash. No rush on the email, now that I know you’ve seen it.

Best regards,
Mick
