TERRY MCGEE 6-key blackwood flute FOR SALE

hey you flute maniacs,

I’m selling my Terry McGee 6-key flute in blackwood and sterling silver-- eccentric bore headjoint, Rudall 5088 model. This is a great flute and it is in PRISTINE condition. I’m selling it because I’m desperate to pay some bills. I paid $2325.00 for it about one year ago and am asking the same for it now. Please respond to me via e-mail at k_lochridge@hotmail.com.

oooh lookie lookie, while i’m here i have to try a few of these   :astonished: :moreevil:

UGH ! Good job it isn’t time for any more Christmas decorations !

Nellysford, VA., eh… :really:

Coincidence, or are you working for a particular flute maker

Loren

Hey, Kara!

How goes it? Did you make yer own yet? Anyway, I’m really sorry about the bills but am glad you have stuff to play where you are and hope all’s well.

Bummer, I would have been all over your McGee but snagged someone else’s just a few months ago because I liked yours so much.

We miss you up here; were just wondering about you at a session at Lawrence’s about a month ago. The B-tonians are all well. Hope you’re having fun!

P.S. FROM THE SHAMELESS PLUG DEPARTMENT:

I know this flute a bit, it’s a great one – owned by a lovely player who has taken really fabulous care of it, humidification & the works.

I encourage everyone out there to explore the vast expressive potential of the emoticon. Come all ye Magellans!

 8   :moreevil:   :boggle: :astonished:

And oh yes,

Cathy: it’s good to hear the Bloomingtonians are still going at it hard, and it’s good to hear from you as well. And thanks for the shameless plug, by the way.

All you out there: CATHY SPEAKS THE TRUTH!!! I have cared for this flute as if it were a tender babe, making sure it neither shrivels up nor gets bashed. I saw to it that it was well-oiled, well-humidified, and I even taught it to say please and thank you.

Paper trained, with current vaccinations. Sorry, I don’t believe in declawing.

Kara, good to see you around here. I’d be sore tempted by your flute, except I’ve got one coming in a few weeks that you may very well be working on right now.

Charlie (who visited a couple of months ago with an adorable 3-year-old)
Sorry for the limited use of emoticons

Hi, Kara–How are you doing? Judy and I are
plugging away in ST. Louis and missing sorely the
sessions in Bloomington.

This flute sounds great when Kara plays it,
as do most flutes. Best wishes, Jim

When she first got it she even carried it around in a little blankey. It was such a cute little thing; so sweet and sunny and well-behaved – never cried one whit, not even in noisy bars way after its bedtime.

Is it sold?

Yes.

It’s nice, too.

Really.

Very nice.

You can’t imagine.

I did wait to see if anyone would pounce on it . . . twelve hours . . . but nobody did. So I figured it was fair game.

Sorry.

(Not.)
