Tenor recorder with a difference

In January I got myself a Sigo tenor recorder. Sigo is a revolutionary new type of recorder with a convoluted bore (something that dates back to the baroque era).

The bore is folded upon itself and the bottom hole is partway up the back of the instrument, meaning the end is flat enabling one to place it flat on your leg for ease of playing. Its a tenor recorder the size of an alto!

Here’s a snippet (still getting used to it)
