must say that ez/pipedream made synth UP drone reeds (D pitch) works quite well.
Offcourse not “soo” natural /charasteristic warm sound as cane ones , but solid ,rock steady , easily adjusted creatures ,and works so well with my pipes.
Nice overallsound with chanter and regs.
Then U asked why to use /test these… well…,wintertime , humidity and weather here (Finland) is quite hard for reeds, these synth. ones are like prob.free .
(They use widely same maker of drone reeds with good results with GHB’s sound too)
