Anyways,
I just got my Syn C here today, and I must say inspite of everyone else’s experience with their Syn’s coming in really dirty, mine came perfectly clean. Even the tuning slide… There’s no grease on it what so ever. And maybe this is whats causing the problem I have with my Syn. The slide, or what’s suppose to be the tuning slide, is Loose! Isn’t tight at all. I know there’s no grease, maybe this is my problem? It will stay in one position if you leave it there, but it wouldn’t take much to move it. I don’t have any ‘whistle grease,’ and I heard chapstick is a good substitute. Any thoughts?
Other than that, with the slide all the way in, it sounds sweet. As to whether or not it’s in tune there, not yet sure. (my dad’s sleeping haha)
