Sylvain Barou had a bag stolen from a train to Paris Sunday morning at 8am. In the bag were 2 Morvan Flutes in D and Eb both 6 keys and a Lehart 5 key in F. The laptop is a macbook pro and 2 Neumann microphones. Please spread the word and keep a look out on E Bay and second hand shops for these items.

thank you very much for posting this, I am posting the full details to the lost/stolen section now.
I am grateful to the people who will keep an eye on a few websites such as ebay, and the belgian musicians/friends who are going to take a bit of their time to regularly check the pawn shops, second hand, music and antique shops of Brussels and area and also all the main towns of Belgium as well as french, german and dutch border.
I’m trying to control my anger now, but I already received a lot of support messages from friends all over the world which warms the cockles of my heart !

That sucks… Will keep an eye out over on this side and I hope it all turns up at some point. Will keep an eye out at car boot sales/flea markets too. You don’t happen to have any serial numbers for any of the things missing?

I have a friend with several flutes stolen in his flat, not only the flute but everything, a terrible thing.
Finally all the flutes appeared in a second hand shop, one or two years later. A Hope for you.
