Oui, d’après mon mari français, on dit “une fan” pour les femmes!
et “un fan” pour les hommes. On peut aussi dire admirateur/-trice.
Bon, pour corriger votre question:

I did a search a while back of tower records, Barnes and Noble, and some
specialty shops here in the USA, and nobody has this guy’s music.
I can’t figure it out. Playin’ is the hard part, distribution should be easy.
