Susato to trade

Hello everybody. I bought myself a Susato A whistle because I wanted to try a Susato out. However being that I have short stubby fingers the reach on the bottom hole is more then I can handle. The reach is a 1½ inches between centers.

I would like to trade this Susato A, for a Susato Bb, or a C, or a D.

PS: I also prefer to trade with some one in the USA.

Have you tried piper grip?

I’d be happy to part with my unused Susato D in exchange. I’ll throw in a Jerry tweaked Generation that I don’t play if that helps. Sending overseas is no big deal, the postman does the job for you

That is a long swim. My postman or postmamm will not do it.

Our postpeople just bring the stuff to Shannon airport and have it flown over, I sent of a batch of CDs just before christmas, delivery took 2 to 6 days to different areas in the States. Even over the christmas it was no hassle at all. Sending whistles in USMail priority flat rate mailing tubes is cheap and and safe, much more so than the insured parcel way.

Tis nice they be having mail in the colonies now …next it will be MacDonalds.

Trade is made, since Mr. Peter sweetened the pot with a Jerry tweaked Generation (something I have been wanting to try) I have decided to trade with him. A little higher cost in the shipping but worth it.

And no I have not tried a piper grip. Dont know what it is or where to get one. If in fact its something one can get instead of do.

I can only play A whistles comfortably using piper grip.

Screeeech, yes I tried that my friend. It just seemed to awkward for me. Maybe with enough practice I could have gotten it to work but I need to concentrate on learning to play a whistle more at this time without trying to learn new fingering also. After I get more comfortable playing the whistle I’ll try that again. Thank you just the same my friend.
