does any one have any exp with the susato low g whistle.i am considering buying one,i play the d,c and low d at present and am happy with them,to me their virtues outway their short comings.thanks, tansy
My personal experience is that the low G has similar characteristics as the other Susato whistles. If you like the group you have, chances are good you’ll like the low G.

ditto. The virtues of the other Susatos
are those of the low G–it may be even
more successful than some of the others.
Based on the mid bore low F and A I’ve recently acquired, and your satisfaction for your own Susatos, I too would say you’ll be happy with it. Actually, I’d recommend you order an A or F (or both) bodies to go with it, as the extra bodies are pretty cheap (around $20 or so each). Just call up Mr. K at Susato and he’ll get you the prices.
And, unlike the folks at House of Musical Traditions, he’ll actually let you specify the colour you’d prefer!

Cant agree with those who claim all Susatos are equal…they definately are not and the low G is the absolute best of the susato mid.bore range and compares well with other makes but look elsewhere for low A and F.Of course it’s a matter of opinion as a lot of folks either love 'em or hate 'em.Mike
I purchased a Susato G to use while I waited for another G that was promised in a few weeks. I thought I could always use the Susato as a backup. After more than a year, I am still waiting for the other G. I have learned to respect my Susato G. It has an excellent low end and the tuning is spot on. I own a Susato D, C, A, and the G. All were worth the money. And (believe it or not…) there is no wait…
