Susato C mystery

I have a susato Kildare C that does not have an o-ring seal and although the inner bore measurement is the same as my D Kildare, the outer measurement is smaller by .05 mm. and it is also incompatible with another head belonging to a D.This is the only susato C I own and is exceptionaly good.Does anyone know,is this a typical Kildare C?It also features a simulated rosewood woodgrain pattern that I,ve not seen before.Thanks. Peace,Mike

Hi Mike,
By your description the whistle you have
is at least 3 1/2 to 4 years old since we’ve
used o-rings on all our 2 part whistles
for that long at least and since we made
that whistle small modifications have been
made to the head-joint as well. Still have
some of the old headjoints hanging around
if you need one. Let me know…

Thanks Mike,
I purchased my whistle about a year ago in Vienna not realising it was old stock.Yes,I would be interested in a few of these older heads since you still have some.Is it possible your European distributer may have some?I can than ask my local whistle shop to include a couple in there next order otherwise the freight and tax charge my end would make it too expensive. Peace,Mike

Mike,

I can’t say if any of the European Distributors have any of the very old
stock and who might have it. It’s best
you get them straight from us. I’ll
make you a good deal. $6.00 each for
the headjoints plus the shipping!
Let me know…

Kelhorn Mike
