They should replace Sandra O’Connor with Sinéad O’Connor. Being Irish, Sinéad can play at least some whistle, but she doesn’t on her recordings. I suspect Sinéad would be a very fair justice.
When I did a google search for her, one of the pictures that came up was Pope John Paul.
She is a Catholic priest (Mother Bernadette Mary is her priestly name) and a catechist, so mabey her nomination would appease people on the religious right, but somehow I don’t think so…
Do Supreme Court justices have to be natural borne citizens? If not, I’m sure Sinéad wouldn’t mind flying over and becoming a citizen. If so, then Bloomfield isn’t eligible either.
In case Sinéad isn’t eligible, I nominate Walden. I like the way he thinks carefully.
I’ve heard that Orrin Hatch is on Bush’s short list to be on the Court. He’d be the first Mormon justice, but I really don’t think Barbara Boxer and company would confirm him. I don’t know if he plays whistle, but he does sing.
I was actually going to quote this, and then give another option…but then I realized that if I did, I’d be implying that the person I nominate isn’t intelligent So I don’t vote for you afterall, Dub
