Support a Great Charity (costs you nothing)

Hi all,

My youngest daughter and her friends at uni have been making extraordinary efforts in support of a charity I have only recently heard of. The Harry Potter Alliance, as the name suggests, uses the fanbase of JK Rowling’s character as a ready-made pool of charity activists. The bulk of supporters seem to be young people. So far they have achieved a great deal, not least significant contributions to aid for victims of the Haiti earthquake.

I had no idea it was such a large organization.
We had a few girls from the Alliance solicit for
members and donations at a Wizard Rock
concert lately, and I assumed they had started
a local organization. Turns out it was just another
chapter.
