The (generally over-priced) chain called “Hold Everything” is closing out the product line of very heavy duty ivory enamelled metal spool racks for $9.99, complete with the two toggle bolts needed to hang them up. (The item # is 4663506.) It will hold FORTY (40) whistles neatly and it makes a nice display. I can provide a digital shot of the one I have–complete with about 28 whistles on it–but do not have a way to post it.

The original price ($38.00) seemed a bit steep, and it is no wonder the item was discontinued. But, at around $10.00 it is a good buy. The outlet I went to (7th Avenue @ 17th Streeet, Manhattan) had one left besides the one I acquired.

Pretty sweet. Although it may have a tad bit of a problem with my growing collection of low whistles!!! :astonished:

My thanks to Steven/NorCal Musician for posting that JPEG. We just had the apartment painted, and I am reluctant to hang anything up just yet. I think I will mount it on a thin board and make a stand for it. One thing is for sure, it is not light.
