Okay now, Technically speaking: I believe I have first dibbs , I was the first one to bring the Sullivan whistle to Dale’s attention, and to the board. That’s was months ago now in fact when I found the Sullivan whistles at Elderly Music and forwarded a link to Dale, then posted it on the message board.
So everyone else stand aside, I claim Shotgun on this one!! (Hee hee!)
Of course I could be totally wrong about this whole thing - Dale was perhaps just trolling for someone who already had a Sullivan they would be willing to review. Although I seem to remember hearing somwhere that Dale had been in touch with Mr. Sullivan…Is Scott his first name?

I can see there surely is truth in your words. However, I still reign unchallenged as Grand Poobah Supreme of hot air and useless rantings; This honor was bestowed on me by the Undisputed himself when he posted one of my reviews in the C&F newsletter stating “For the benefit of our readers, I have mercilfully edited Loren’s Review”. To my knowledge know one else has ever moved the Undisputed to speak such words.

OT: I saw a box of tongue depressors at work with the label: Solon. Fine Wood Products by Maine Craftsmen. (I think there’s a connection there, somehow.) No reflection on Sullivan whistle. What ever happened with Sullivan whistles? I don’t hear about them any more.
I went to the Elderly Instrument website and couldn’t find them listed
I’m guessing that’s because (except for the post immediately above yours) all the prior posts in this thread were from 2002.
Still, now you’ve got me curious. I’m surprised I don’t remember seeing them – I must have been to Elderly quite a few times in 2002, probably once within six weeks of that last post from 2002. And I normally check the whistle display when I visit. Were they that unmemorable, or were they that short-lived?
