I can do most forms of ornamentation, except I can’t do a strike for some reason. To do a strike, you raise the finger under the note you’re striking, right?I think I’m doing it wrong because I think it sounds more fluttery that it’s supposed to.
Suppose I’m playing an A. I can cut
by very quickly lifting and replacing
my left index (top hand; or I
can strike by lifting my ring finger,
and then tapping the G. It sounds
like a cut, except not quite. One lifts
the finger with which one strikes,
and then bounces off the hole.

It’s a great resource for learning ornamentation.
