p.s. looking for other recommendations that i can add to my favourites.

I recently ran across the http://www.live365.com web site for streaming radio. It has a great section of Irish/Celtic music stations.

I welcome you, and christen you in the traditional fashion…breaking a bottle of champagne across your brow!

THUMP* (thud) :astonished:

Hmmmm…that didn’t seem to work out too well, did it?

My new favorite: http://www.wfuv.org
Click on “Celtic Sounds”
Then look for “A Thousand Welcomes” with Kathleen Biggins.
You can listen live (if you can get the time right) or go through an extensive archive of 3-hr programs with great interviews with top musicians. Saturday’s program was “Cherish the Ladies through the years”
Great stuff!

Let me offer you a more sedate welcome Roo. But, with a name like yours, aren’t you on the wrong side of the Tasman?

Hi Wombat and thanks for the welcome. I see what you mean, however it’s only the spelling that comes from over your way as Roo is shortened from of Andrew - sort of.

Cheers

Roo.

Holy smokes Susan what a great link. My hole day was lost in a fog of totaly great music. Thank you. Oh ya and welcome Roo. Hope you find as much enjoyment here as I do.
