I’m going to be in the StPete/Tampa area first week of March and wonder if anyone knows of the session scene there.
I know Harp & Thistle at St. Pete Beach has a nightly thing, but not much else about it. Anyone have any info?

When I left the area a couple of months ago the main sessions were down in the Sarasota area - The St. Pete Session had pretty much petered out once the Annie Moore’s session shut down.
Best bet is to contact Kevin Hing, he posts over on the whistle board from time to time, he’s very into the scene in that area and can tell you exactly what’s what at the moment. I’ll look up his email addy and forward it to you privately.

yes, i just learned that Harp & Thistle closed in September. Darn.
Craig: not done yet with the recording. A couple tracks are down, but just taking time with it, deciding which flutes to use where and how. Etc. Dumb stuff, really, but why not.
