Spring Tin Whistle Classes in New York City

Dear Friends,

This spring I will offer a full schedule of tin whistle classes for musicians of all levels beginning the week of March 24.

Intro to Tin Whistle Ornamentation (Intermediate Level), as well as more basic classes, will be held at The Irish Arts Center (553 W. 51st, Manhattan) on Tuesday nights beginning on March 25th. You can find class details on my website at:

http://www.pennywhistle.com/iacclassinfo.html

I also offer private lessons and more advanced classes at my home/studio on 46th St. and 10th Ave. I teach the Irish flute and uilleann pipes as well. Please e-mail me for details: bill@pennywhistle.com.

ohhh i can´t believe it!! are you THE Bill Ochs??? My compliment to you because of the “Clarke tin whistle handbook” and the teaching cassette i have started with this book and i have learned a lot. Really recommendable for beginners [/b]

Hehehe. Sehr lustig.

Hello Cranberry i agree with you of course i adore the Corrs i have been at their concerts 2 times. And for me there is no doubt Andrea is a brilliant tin whistler  I got all the dvd´s and cd´s. I was just a bit surprised to see Bill Ochs on this site i did not know he´s posting as well. And what i have meant with my comment was : I had to learn again how to read music notes etc. after 17 years break and this handbook and the cassette were really a great help to me.
