Spooky...

As cranberry pointed out in immediately afterward, my 666th post was rather fitting (and completely coincidental):

I think I hear the theme music from The Twilight Zone…

…BOO!!!

I agree.

So, Cran, do feel like a newt, yet?

I started to say, “ribbet,” but I realised that newts don’t say that. I don’t know what newts say.

This Newt says, “I am running for President.” Why did his mother name him after an amphibian?

Sometimes you feel like a newt
Sometimes you don’t!

da devel made me do it

eewwww…I hope not!!! I just can’t picture cran looking like this:

:boggle:

But that’s not just any old newt. That’s the newt Grinch, whose heart is three sizes too small.

oops!
wrong newt

I found that very same picture while you were posting! Great minds thinketh alike.

“I got better.”

I went searching for a picture of a real newt, and I found this picture of a mother newt and her baby:

It is sort of cranberry colored…

Wow. Newts nurture their young?

I did not know that.

Maybe it’s an unrelated newt, getting ready for a quick snack. :smiling_imp:

In order to find out if newts nurtured their young, I googled site:wikipedia.org newt, and Newt Gingrich has a higher placing than the amphibian.

It’s a short article and didn’t say much about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newt

That’s very generous of them, but it flies in the face of everything taught about evolution… :smiling_imp:

I am pretty sure it’s not the Google.com people, but Internet users. Which ever sites get the most hits automatically “float” to the top of the list, based on relevancy, but I’m not exactly sure.

That would prove the lack o’ evolution theory!

It might rock the boat a bit to bring this up, but I think it’s notable …

Newt Gingrich and Hillary Clinton have become good friends. They’ve found significant areas of agreement, believe it or not.

Best wishes,
Jerry
