Yes, thanks for that. I wasn’t able to herd enough cats from the Nog.
It was pretty funny. Some people seemed to
think we must be the band advertised on the
float, and we couldn’t really stop and disabuse
them of that. Hopefully, we didn’t play badly
enough to keep anyone away from the concert!
The board met tonight, and got a good laugh over it. They extended their gratitude.
But we’re way OT. Someone say something spacey. 
Hurricane, WV has two parades a year. 4th of July and Christmas. I used to live just a block from the parade route, so I never missed the parade. There were two bands in the parade. Hurricane High School Marching Band and some County Band on a Flatbed. For Christmas the Country Band dressed in Santa outfits. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade had nothing on this one.
