With all this talk of West-coast, east-coast, south-pole, etc. Chiff gatherings, I was wondering if there would be room for a Great White North (ok, sort of green, somewhat southern, and very middle of great Lakes) Chiff Gathering…

I’m three hours from Windsor and I’d go another hour after that. I’m three hours from Niagara Falls too.
There already have been two Windsor gatherings, you know…
And at least a few of us will be in Goderich the first week in August.
Goderich, I will be there in august. Catskills in july. Clare in november.
Right now I’m living almost right between Toronto and Kingston, so I could thoeretically make a trip anywhere in southern ontario. Money pending of course. I’m kinda poor right now…

I’d definitely be there if it were in Windsor, but anywhere from here to Toronto would probably draw me in.
Bummer. I’ll be driving to Indianapolis that weekend and if I’m lucky maybe stop in at the Dublin, Ohio Irish fest on the way by.
Note that Goderich is an entire week… actually plus a little, since it will effectively start Sunday the 1st in the evening, and run until very late Sunday the 8th (usually the last session quits at 3 or 4 am). It’s only the festival portion which is on the weekend of the 6th, 7th, and 8th.
I’m in Toronto, so anything is southern Ontario is doable for me.
I too will be in Goderich and, along with a couple of friends, have rented a house across the street from the festival park…is that any good? Might be a good place to meet up…I know there is a big lawn and I am sure there is a fridge for beer!
