The South Downs Uilleann Pipers are pleased to announce our first tionol.
The tionol will be held on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March 2013 in St. Mary’s Church/Church Hall (below) in the tiny, but beautiful village of West Chiltington, near Pulborough in West Sussex. Guest piper/tutor will be Neillidh Mulligan.
There will be a pub session on the Friday evening, with classes on the Saturday for pipers of all standards, with buffet lunch featuring the playing of old piping 78s on a 1920s gramophone. In there evening will be a concert featuring Neillidh Mulligan and guests at the church, followed by a session until late in the evening in a local pub.
Fee for the day including tuition, buffet lunch, refreshments and entry to the evening concert £40.
