i am having a pitch problem when i play G, when i switch from lets say A to G it comes in at a higher pitch but if i hold it it drops to a normal G if i let up slightly on the bag pressure, given that bag pressure needs to be consistent but it sounds like im hitting a high G & then dropping, does anyone have any ideas
I find on my set that the A can be “pressured” up in pitch, sometimes F# can be pressured down in pitch, but the G is almost dead steady at various pressures with all my reeds.
Can you sound hard bottom D? Any “autocrann” or gurgle on bottom D? If so, open the lips of the reed slightly.
