Sorta OT: sessions in Denver?

I’m posting here because of the overall activity. A friend is going to Denver and will be looking for sessions. Anybody in the know? Thanks in advance for your help.

Best,
N

Hmm…no Denver sessions? Relax, folks, this really is for a friend; I promise I won’t storm the Mile-High City and be a session-wrecker.

There are two listed on thesession.org:

By the way, Nanohedron, is your big sister Polyhedron?

Sarah

I believe there are some folks who hang out at the session web site who are in Denver. Check these pages:

Search sessions at the session.

Steve

Thanks for the links, all! Didn’t know they were there.

Polyhedron is actually my cousin, Sarah, and she’s a big girl, to be sure.

i went for a pint at the sunday session at conor o’neill’s in boulder and really enjoyed it, probably because i didn’t play myself. it did thoroughly inspire me, though.

Hey N!

Sorry I didn’t reply sooner… I’ve been on vacation… I play every Monday night at Fado in Denver. There’s also one on Sunday night there as well.

I’ve heard great things about Conor O’Neill’s as well… Someday I’ll make it there… I actually played with a guitarist that won the Detroit regional that plays at Conor O’Neill’s regularly - very inspiring indeed!

Best,

Thanks, Blayne. Thanks to the links so kindly provided, I got references to Fado and also Darcy’s. Know anything about that one?

Thanks also for the headsup with Conor O’Neill’s. I’ll let S. know about it if she hasn’t already left. That one didn’t come up on the search, but then I’m not too savvy when it comes to things computerish.

Just a question that has me a bit baffled, though: wouldn’t Fado be a Portuguese joint judging from the name? Maybe it’s a diversity thing…

N
