I predict that Someday Soon we will be seeing Nadine Laughlin at the Grammys. She is the No. one choice of music in our office!
And Chris, you sound pretty darn good too!
Raven
That’s not OT. There’s whistle on this CD!

I don’t know what it takes to win one of those but would it be unduly cynical to say that you need record company money for ‘promotion’? From the clips I’ve heard, I certainly hear the talent you hear and the word will get around. Must buy the CD soon myself.
Who is nadine Laughlin? Does she have a bare midriff? ![]()
She’s Chris Laughlin’s mom. I don’t know about her midriff.
If I ever met her, I would probably never find out what she looks like below the chin, so the midriff would never come into play.
Thank you SOOO much! I just finished a three hour exam and was feeling kind of down. This is one of those random acts of kindness that makes everything worth while. I’ll pass on your kind words to my mom.
For those of you wondering what the heck this is all about check out:

By the way, yeah, she definately needs someone other than myself to promote her. Any ideas? We need to get her music out into the world ![]()
Much love,
Chris
By the way, Raven, where do you work? I’m just curious who might be listening to my mom.
Best,
Chris
I work at an Interpretive Center (History interpretation of the largest Rev war balltle west of the Alleghanies) located in Ohio. It is managed by our local park system.
I would love to help promote your mom. She is soooo talented! I have been trying to spread the word around here, even played her cd at our whistle club. (Which also promoted the C&F site) I also have sent my sister in CA one so that she could let her friends hear and enjoy.
I have been talking with the CEO of the park system about having concerts in the park. He agrees that this is a great idea. There are other venues that could be taken too. (But I guess that should be discussed other than here)
Hmmm, Just remembered I have a friend at local alternitive radio station in Yellow Springs (WYSO) they have a program that features new talent. If it would be OK I could pass along the cd to her.

Wow! Beautiful CD. Chris does a nice low whistle solo in “Pray For Grace”:

Quiet vocals and piano, thoughtful lyrics. A+ production. Norah Jones move over!
It’s in my list! ![]()
