Song Suggestions?

I am going to do a concert with my dad (called “Artists Who Make Music”) and some other people at a gallery in Woodstock on October 12 and I have my part ALMOST figured out. I am going to sing “Walking After Midnight” accompanied by my dad and his friend on guitars, play an air on either a whistle or a flute, sing [fill in the blank], pull an amateur Larry Nugent and start out slowly on “Going to the Well for Water” and get prgressively faster until (hopefully) people get impressed, and then sing “Crazy” with the same accompaniment as the first one.

So…can anyone help me to fill in the blank in the middle??? It just hasn’t come to me yet…I am open to various styles…

(I am away for a craft show this weekend and may or may not be able to check back before Sunday night.)

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Hi Jessie,Don Macleans Vincent would sit nicely in your set, either sung or played as an air…just a thought, or sing one of your own compositions. Mike

Thanks, Mike. I came up with an answer. I am going to sing Teddy O’Neill. I got it from a Maura O’Connell CD. It’s a beautiful (SAD) song, and my mom cried when she heard it today.
