Something for the weekend.

The weekend starts relativly earlier on G.M.T. , and in the dark hours I got stuck.

Right, here we go;
Is there anything in the known Universe which has neither name nor number ?, and if so ( tricky content), how is it identified.

Suggestions on a po…,

Slan,
D.

That feeling you get when you know you have to sneeze but can’t. Maybe some language has a word for it, though. There’s an African word which means: the kind of person who will forgive you once for anything, grudgingly the second time, but never the third time.

Sure but just as soon as its found we just have ta give it a name or/and a number.

My husband calls those a failed nasal orgasm.

Did I just type that? :astonished:

Caroline

How about – the stuff that’s left when you start with everything in the Universe, take it all away until there is nothing left, then take the nothing away.

:astonished:

Isn’t that called Zen Buddhism?

Dang – yeah, I read something like that in Chuang Tze’s
collection of writings.

Ok, what Chuang was talking about was a philosphical concept.
Keep my proposal entirely in the realm of the physical, no
Zen, no Taoism, just good old hard headed Newtonism.
Does that work?

Ok, here’s another one. The mathematicians on this list are going to rip this one but here goes. How about –

It’s the mathematical symbol for the infinite. It’s a symbol, not a name, and of course it has no number.
