Some great news for London whistlers.

I have just heard that Hobgoblin Music in central London are now stocking COPELAND low and high D whistles is brass and nickle.
I grabbed a high D and will be reviewing the low and high Ds elsewhere.
They also have a COPELAND wood flute which was also very nice but very costly.
So if you are in the mood check them out .

ps,HB are in Rathebone Pl just off Oxford St.

Hobgob’s a lovely place, though I shudder to think of Copeland price tags in pounds sterling.

As far as I know the COPELAND low Ds are £289 stg and the high Ds are £189 stg.
I must admit they are a bit costly but they are in London and in stock.

Why didn’t they have this kind of lineup when I was at Hobgoblin in London? I didn’t have the cash to buy anything like that anyway, but I’d love to have a chance to try them out anyway. The only very good whistles they stocked while I was there was Alba (which were very good, I came back thinking I was going to order one, but they had so many options and I didn’t know which one I tried and liked, so I’m sticking with my Syn’s -wich are brilliant BTW- end of the lenghty parenthesis coming up… now).
I’d have loved to try out a few Copelands.

(edited to correct lousy spelling, don’t mind the mistakes that are probably left, höhö  )
