I imagine we’ll be hearing more about this guy… be patient, it’s not until a ways into the clip that you see why.
Wow. I was kinda bored until about a minute in.
Then he had my attention…
Eeeeewwww!!!
People have been shot for less.

Yeah… I forgot to put in the “be patient” part (remedied now)… impressive! My daughter kept insisting that we really needed to give it a listen and I was initially thinking, “well, he’s got a pretty nice voice, but nothing really extraordinary”, when “WOW!”
That was pretty funny. I ran across this comment:
thanx d*@k ur awful voise has threwn me into a knife wielding frindzy, my family is dead and all i can hear is ur girl voise even writing this now but i think its important for u to know how u f@#*d my life up.
A little bizarre.
Yeah, there’s always gotta be a drama queen admiring his typing, or what passes for it.
he’s a good mimic ![]()

It wasn’t the typing I cared about, it was the content of the comment. I thought it was a little bizarre. ![]()

Hey, the typing remark was just an afterthought. The idea of a self-absorbed drama queen was the main thing. Gimme some credit.
Yeah, there are always some folks who just have to say something nasty. If something doesn’t fit their personal idea of cool, it’s impossible for them to look at it as having any merit at all, and so they feel the need, and justification, to make fun of it. (Jealousy being an inconveniently common underlying factor in many cases.)
I’m not sure exactly what to say…he hits the high notes better than some women I know

The general public is not accustomed to hearing a man sing in the vocal range of a woman, but this vocal phenomenon is really not that uncommon. Such voices are referred as a countertenor, and a good example of countertenor voices can be heard in the all men chorus “Chanticleer”, where I, for one, am not able to tell the countertenor voices from that of a woman.
The boy on this video has a lot of talent being able to change quickly between voices. I wonder what the judges’ comments would be if he were to appear on “American Idol”.
countertenor
I watched the video.

Not just the range, but with female tembre, too.
I frequently am surprised by Ray LaMontagne’s
voice, which I originally mistook for Tracy Chapman’s.
Likewise, Carla Bozulich of the Geraldine Fibbers
can sound disconcertingly male. It’s just weird to
watch her sing sometimes, like she must surely be
lip-synching.
Yeah, he’s good. But I bet he can’t sing harmony with himself in both voices at the same time.
You know, like whistle players tootling 2 fer one.
I think I heard him hit falsetto for one or two notes, other wise it seemed to be straight forward. It seemed part mimicking and impersonation, add to that a decent use of the sound room. I think the right cartoonist could do many things with him as a voice actor if they tried and he can take good direction.
