SOLD:Hoover Applewood Low G Whistle

I am selling a brand new Hoover Low G whistle made from applewood. This is a beautiful looking and sounding whistle! It looks very professional with a nice brass tuning slide and endcap which highlights the natural wood grain. But what really stands out is the sound. It may be redundant to say that a wooden whistle sounds, well “woody”, but thats the first word that comes to mind. Don’t get me wrong, it absolutely does not sound like a recorder!, rather it has a very chiffy whistle sound, but with a warm “woody” tone. The finger holes are nicely rounded for comfort, and the instrument is very light, making it easy to play for long periods of time. I am only selling this as I only play low whistles, and this whistle, while technically a low whistle, is a little to small for my personal tastes. (Plus I need to finance a few low D orders I have coming due!) This would be a great whistle for a high whistler looking to get something lower but not wanting to break into a pipers grip. (I personally play with a pipers grip all the time, another reason this whistle is a little to small for me) I have only had this whistle for a week and bought it directly from Mack, whose customer service is unparalled. (I still can’t figure out how he answers emails so fast!) These go for $150 new, but I will take $125. Please PM if interested. SOLD
Thanks
Kevin R.

P.S. I did not take this picture, Mack did, hence the date.

bump

What does “bump” mean in these threads??

When a posting that a person feels deserves a bit of attention (quite often a for sale posting) drops down due to no activity or replies to that posting a “bump” is given in order to throw that posting to the top again and let people see it. From there it begins its downward drift again.

Thanks! This one certainly deserves a bump!

Hey…I saw where you’re selling the low Ds. Did you get any bites on this one?

This whistle is still available, thanks.

Do’in the bump…ow…
