I’m selling the first flute I bought locally, a rosewood old Lark in the Morning flute in D.
I bought it for $100 with a crack in one of the tenons which I had expertly repaired by our own Jon C. (Cochran Flutes). I also made some changes to make the flute play more in tune.
You can hear the flute on my webpage (link below in my signature) of me playing Calliope House along with an RTTA printout of the intonation of the flute. As can be seen, this flute has excellent intonation, the best intonation of any flute I’ve ever owned or tried.
This flute can produce a sweet, crisp Rudall sound and is ideal for someone wanting an all wood flute with a tuning slide and smaller/medium sized holes at a very low price.
It has some scratches but looks good in general with brass rings and a brass slide. The wood is dark, almost like blackwood.
I’m letting it go because it’s too soft for my purposes (either sessions or gigs) and need some funds for a different backup flute to my Burns Large Hole.
This a great deal for $125 plus shipping costs. PM if interested.
Thanks for looking.
