I picked up a Mark I Feadog recently on eBay. After some gentle tweaking, I found I have one of the nicest mass produced whistles (tweaked or otherwise) I’ve encountered. Clean, bright, both registers strong, sweet, birdlike. I’ve had other Mark I Feadogs, and they’re nice, but this one seems special.

I’ll sell it for the same price as my tweaked Mellow Dogs and tweaked Generations. $36.50 plus $4.60 postage anywhere in the world. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Does it use the original blade?

Yes.

The Feadog Mark I is a vintage whistle that’s considered a classic. I’ve cleaned up the rough edges from the original casting, worked a bevel onto the windway floor exit and filled under the windway.

It’s an exceptional whistle, and I’m confident whoever purchases it will be delighted.
